The Public Affairs Division raises awareness of the agency’s mission, programs, services, and community partnerships through social media interaction, news coverage, and other platforms. The Division seeks to engage residents in conversation on the various ways the Sheriff’s Office can partner with them in efforts to enhance public safety. The Division also spotlights the people in our ranks entrusted with protecting the community and safeguarding those in our custody and care.

  • Media inquiries are handled as expeditiously as possible during normal business hours. You may contact the HCSO Media Relations Office at 346-286-1580 or media@sheriff.hctx.net .
  • Booking Photos requests must be made in writing Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Please send requests to media@sheriff.hctx.net . Booking photo requests must include the defendant’s name, date of birth (DOB) and/or SPN, and criminal charge associated with the photo you are requesting.
